The Barbour County Development Authority recently announced the location of LifeTite Metal Products Manufacturers to the Belington Industrial Park. The company will occupy the nearly 50,000 square foot shell building currently owned by the Development Authority.
In an effort to expand their client base, the company is expanding their existing operation in Jackson County, West Virginia to north-central West Virginia. The company expects to employ 5 people initially and hopes to expand employment to more than 10 within the first year of operation.
BCDA Executive Director Lisa Sharp said, “We are pleased that LifeTite has chosen Barbour County as the location for their expansion project. They are making a significant investment in the existing facility and we hope that their business will thrive at this new location.”
LifeTite specializes in the manufacturing of metal building components. Their product line includes metal roof and wall panels as well as trim. Their manufacturing capability allows them to produce a wide variety of custom shapes and forms. LifeTite is currently preparing the facility for their equipment which is expected to arrive in the next few days.
